This is a limited edition! (4  already out of 10) FOR ORGANIC KINTSUGI

Kintsugi, the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold, is more than a restoration technique — it’s a philosophy. Rather than hiding cracks, it honors the history of an object, transforming its breaks into beautiful scars that tell the story of time, use, and imperfection. Kintsugi teaches that what is broken can become even more precious, that memory and transformation can coexist in one form.

In his work, Reza embraces this same spirit through his handmade pencils. Each pencil carries traces of the process — small marks, textures, and irregularities — that reflect the human touch behind its creation. When a piece is damaged or worn, Reza doesn’t discard it; instead, he repairs or reuses its parts, allowing the object’s memory to live on.

Just like Kintsugi, his approach respects the continuity of the object’s life. Every repair, every grain of wood, every metal mechanism tells a story — of craftsmanship, time, and transformation. In Reza’s hands, a pencil becomes more than a tool; it becomes a vessel of memory, a symbol of how beauty can emerge from imperfection and endurance.

This clutch pencil is a 5.6mm lead holder equipped with a ballpoint pen converter that can be changed and used as a pen anytime. This wooden writing instrument feels fantastic in the hand. There is a sharpener in its pusher for sharpening the lead as sharp you wish. Since it has expandable lead which can be replaced with different grades lead such as H,HB,B1 to B5.

Gave it as gift. Beautifully wrapped and presented. Recipient loves it. My only question is are there instructions for how to use it as a pen? I hope it will be clear to him.
