    E X O T I C  W O O D

      PADAUK

      This handmade writing instrument is made from African Padauk
      wood. The colour of this exotic wood can vary, ranging from a
      pale pinkish orange to a deep brownish red. When freshly cut,
      each piece tends to start with a reddish orange while it darkens
      substantially over time to a reddish brown.

      EBONY

      This handmade writing instrument is made from African Ebony wood. Ebony is a dense black hardwood known for its durability, hardness and its distinctive black/dark brown colour.

      MANGO

      This handmade writing instrument is made from tropical South Asian Mango hardwood. The colour of mango wood is most often golden brown and its fascinating texture gives to the wood a special kind of appeal with colours ranging from dark tones to light brown.

      PURPLEHEART

      This handmade writing instrument is made from South American Purpleheart wood. Upon exposure, the wood colour becomes from a dull purplish brown to a deeper eggplant purple. This South American hardwood is known for its rich, deep purple color that turns brownish-purple over time.

      VERAWOOD

      This handmade writing instrument is made from South American Verawood. It is a hard and oily wood with a feathered grain pattern. Its colour ranges from a pale yellowish olive to a deep forest green. Verawood has a distinctive perfume-like fragrance that lingers within the wood.

      WENGE

      This handmade writing instrument is made from Central African Wenge. Wenge wood is known for its straight grain and its natural luster. Sands unevenly due to differences in density between light and dark areas.

      ZEBRAWOOD

      This handmade writing instrument is made from West African Zebrawood. This wood has a coarse texture and is known for its light brown/cream colour and its dark blackish brown wavy streaks resembling a zebra’s stripes.

      This handmade writing instrument is made from Middle Eastern maple wood. This durable wood has a beautiful light grey colour as well as it is light in weight, an attribute that makes this writing instrument and a beautiful and easy-to-use writing tool.

      WALNUT

      This handmade writing instrument is made from American Walnut wood. This wood colour ranges from light brown to dark chocolate. It is prized from its strength, grain and beautiful warm colour.

      OLIVE WOOD

      This Mediterranean hardwood has a distinctive, swirling grain pattern and a warm, golden-brown color.

       

      S T A B I L I Z E D  W O O D

       

      MAPLE

      This handmade writing instrument is made from stabilized Middle Eastern maple wood. In-house stabilization with impregnation of colour has been performed to improve durability and enhancement and the result is unique depending on the structure of each piece of wood.
